The Role:
Fircroft are working with a multi-national supplier of mechanical engineering products who are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to ensure that customer satisfaction is placed at the top of the agenda.

This is a crucial hire for our client and they are looking for a high calibre engineer with a genuine passion for both their craft and also the art of QA.

The successful applicant will be the single point of contact for all customer concerns and you will also be responsible for leading/completing route cause investigations.

The Company:
The company employee thousands of staff across both the UK and Europe whilst having a turnover of over £1bn. Their heavy engineering product is well known across the industry for its optimum product quality and durability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- A proven experience in mechanical engineering
- Outstanding knowledge of dealing with customer complaints and all aspects of warranty processes
- Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, PPAPs, Root Cause Analysis
- You will need strong stake-holder engagement skills with the ability to converse well across all levels
- The ability to identify and implement suitable corrective and preventative actions

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- A degree in mechanical engineering would make you a stand out candidate for the role
