The Role:
Responsibilities:
* Represent our client in all Quality related aspects at project meetings as required on or off-site
* Lead and support generation of project documentation including Quality documentation NB this will also include proof reading of said documentation.
* With Documentation Controller ensure complication of Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) for the project and phased sign off is achieved.
* Support the Project/ Programme Manager, Supply Chain Manager & other staff to deliver Quality Aspects as necessary.
* Conduct Internal & supply chain audits to maintain conformity and configuration control.
* Ensure with the project manager that agreed hold/ surveillance/ witness points are observed
* Liaise with Customer/ Client Quality staff to conduct joint reviews of project elements as defined in the Quality Plan or ITP's.
* Facilitate Project Quality Audits.
* Manage customer related NCR's to resolution

The candidate must also be able to gain security clearances (UK National).

An ideal would be a candidate who has had previous nuclear experience, with sound knowledge of project quality engineering.

The Company:
Our client is an engineering company based in the West Midlands area (Halesowen) and have recently taken on another project and to deliver this project they require a full time resource at a Quality Manager/Project Engineer level.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* HNC (NVQ Level 4) Minimum in a related engineering discipline
* Preferred BSc (NVQ Level 6) in a related engineering discipline
* Civil or Defence nuclear project experience working with grade 2/3 product (Components + Documentation)
* Green Belt certified preferred
