Position Summary:
Assist the Construction Manager and Project Management team with all on-site activities associated with the overall execution of solar and wind energy projects.

Duties:
* The mechanical superintendent will plan, lead & coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all mechanical field personnel as required to successfully complete the solar project on schedule and within budget.
* Work with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Estimating department during the pre-bid and buyout stage of each project.
* Supervision of all subcontractors involved with their assigned scope of the projects
* Leads and support the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing systems in place.
* Inputs into the mechanical execution of overall construction plan.
* Identifies upcoming issues and solves problems.
* Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
* Support project administration to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
* Manages quality control program to ensure processes are implemented according to the design of the project and are consistent.


Requirements:
* 3 + years experience EPC construction management on utility scale solar and/or wind energy projects.
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, Mechanical engineering or related area preferred.
* Ability to build relationships with subcontractors
* Problem-solving Skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
* Have proven supervisory Skills
* Risk Assessment/Management experience
* Strong technical solar or wind project knowledge
* Knowledge of public and construction safety and security issues and regulations
* Must be able to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for all mechanical work.
* Knowledge of all project plans, specifications, drawings, submittals, and permit requirements.
* Excellent communication skills & time management skills
