The Role:
The Project Manager effectively executes projects in accordance with established procedures, the planned schedule and project scope, as well as defined HSE and quality criteria. He/she must have the ability to communicate effectively with client representatives to enhance customer satisfaction.

This portfolio includes managing suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with contractual, code, statutory, regulatory and customer requirements and specifications. Member of the Management team, he/she has joint accountability for ensuring that there is a structured Risk management framework to effect organization wide risk management including identification, analysis, evaluation and treatment appropriately at each level of the organization. In this context, provides particular focus on management of risk across assigned projects and project related activities of the Company.

Specific Deliverables include:
Management and Development of Projects including:
1. Review the contract after award and identify risks and contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
2. Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan on receipt of successful bid.
3. Identify and obtain resources required for the successful execution of the project.
4. Develop and maintain the schedule/timeline for projects.
5. Manage all project interfaces and execute the project in a sound and efficient manner.
6. Monitor the weld defect rate and other project parameters, initiate trend analyses and participate in root cause analysis for non-conforming trends observed.
7. Establish and maintain effective communication arrangements with customers and within the project team so that all stakeholders are informed at all times of project status.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE and QMS procedures, Inspection and Test plans, codes, specifications and standards.
9. Develop specific work instructions for projects in conjunction with relevant personnel.
10. Record and present Lessons Learned/Close Out project meetings.
11. Clarifies performance expectations of assigned team members, assesses/evaluates their performance and takes required action(s) to address performance problems, competency gaps, succession planning and career progression with appropriate consultation with Management/Human Resources.

Minimum Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates who have no less than ten (10) years working experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in Project & Construction Management, with exposure in the following areas:
 Mechanical Construction: Field and Shop Piping, Tanks, Structural, etc.; Plant Turn Around and Engineering design related to fabrication and construction.
 Planning, Scheduling, Project and Cost Control
 Estimating and Bid Preparations
 Familiarity with ASME and API engineering codes for process piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks and structural components.
 Three (3) years working experience in a Project Management role
 Proven leadership experience with professional and craft personnel.
 Effective communication (verbal and written) skills.
 Working experience in an ISO 9001 Certified and/or STOW Certified Organization

Minimum Qualifications:
 BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Integrated)
 PMBOK or other International Project Management methodologies certification
