The Role:
* Oversee and manage an installation team of 14 within the workshop and liaise with the other installation teams and management to deliver an efficient, effective and profitable operation.
* Management of a team of 4 field and site based service engineers and scheduling of the workshop and/ or field service engineer's daily workloads.
* Manage office administration staff and develop and follow all operating processes and procedures.
* Work in conjunction with the overall company Installation strategy and contribute to continuous improvements within this area of operation.
* Coordination of parts deliveries for assigned jobs and parts sales supply and deliveries to local customer base.
* Provide local technical /engineering first line support where needed on occasion.
* Workshop job co-ordination, parts supply and stock holding both in house and for service vans
* Visit existing and new customers along with sales when required to assess customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions and services.
* Manage assigned customer relations and be the main point of contact for Service enquiries
* Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat service business;
* Work closely with local sales team and refer potential sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts.
* Develop with marketing efficient sales and marketing strategy to promote the site, its services, and service levels.
* Support activity with key customers in region to ensure customer satisfaction delivery and deliver high scoring customer satisfaction results for site and operation.
* Measurement and on going support of business development activities.
* Evaluate customer satisfaction in a structured manner, to ensure a process of continuous improvement. Obtain regular feedback on market development, trends and demand patterns.
* To co-operate closely with other business units to collaborate and share ideas.
* Handle prices and quotes in line with established guidelines
* Prepared to travel within and outside UK.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working experience:
* Likely to have 5 years+ experience in a commercial workshop/bodybuilding role from within a related industry.
* Experience and knowledge of engineering production and or bodybuilder operations is also desirable

Competence and skills:
* Proven ability to manage a busy workshop environment
* Ability to demonstrate equipment/ service sales and profitability
* Excellent customer facing skills
* Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
* Strong business mind-set with financial skills
* Good technical skills
* Ability to work in an international business environment in a matrix organisation
* Results and achievement driven and eager to create long term relationships
* High integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Potential and willingness to develop for international assignment
