The Role:
This is a permanent (staff) role with our client, for an operating refinery plant located in the West part of Singapore.
Reporting to the Asset Integrity and Reliability Lead, the successful candidate will provide engineering reviews and technical supports to rotating equipment maintenance activities related to rotating equipment and systems.
Typical duties:
- Lead asset criticality assessments to recommend effective / efficient maintenance programs aligned to criticality with respect to safety, reliability, availability to achieve high level of asset integrity & reliability. Collaborate with Rotating Lead for setting up and effective implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance programs / plans, using effective tools, best practices and procedures
- Ensure all rotating equipment and systems (i.e. pumps, compressors, agitator, fans, etc.) are installed and maintained by embracing recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices.
- Active In enhancing asset integrity. Lead, facilitate or participate in deep dives, investigations, root-cause analysis and improvement discussions. Recommend appropriate corrective, preventive or improvements, targeting root causes.
- Understand all condition monitoring trends and reports (i.e. vibration monitoring, oil particle analysis, etc.). Recommend any required remedial, preventive or improvement actions.
- Develop repair procedures or plans for approval by Asset Integrity and Reliability Lead.
- Represent Maintenance in project events and turnarounds management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience in process plant engineering and rotating equipment maintenance work.
Experience in asset integrity management, up-to-date with current industry best practices in safety, maintenance and engineering.
Root-cause analysis and FMEA
Condition monitoring - vibration monitoring, oil particle analysis, etc.
CMMS - SAP, IFS, plant maintenance, material / inventory management
