The Role:
Review a scope of work of the project and assign tasks to respective team members; to ensure all deliverables are delivered as per the contract and timely manner.

* Conduct project risk assessment and summarize risk and mitigation plan for the project.
* Supervise and guide team members; to ensure integration of activities and to increase productivity.
* Determine, plan and monitor engineering deliverables; to ensure timely deliverables and meet engineering standards
* Review and verify all related piping engineering documents which include but not limited to Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, Materials and Piping Class, Material Take-Off (MTO), procedure and reports; to ensure the information is accurate.
* Review and verify submissions of Issue for Construction (IFC) drawings; to ensure Vendor Data Incorporation (VDI) is as accurate as per the project requirement and is submitted in a timely manner.
* Review and verify Delta MTO reports; to ensure information is accurate for purchase of additional materials.
* Review and monitor Purchase Requisition (PR) to ensure purchase of materials meet project requirements and specifications.
* Review Tender Bid for Evaluation (TBE) document; to ensure the specification for piping materials is as per the specification in the Purchase Requisition (PR).
* Review and verify Site Technical Queries (STQ), Raised for Clarification (RFC) prepared by Engineer and propose alternative solutions (if any); to ensure technical clarification is accepted by clients.
* Communicate with Engineering Consultant client to clarify drawings or specifications discrepancies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience as an Engineer, Piping; preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum of 5 Years experience in Lead Position
Possess Degree in relevant engineering discipline
Possess at least one CPP Project Detail Design experience
Possess international project experience is an advantage (particularly Middle East, India, African and European projects and operators)
Possess EPC/EPCIC Project experience is an added advantage
Possess Professional Engineer Certificate issued by Malaysian Board of Engineers is an added advantage
