The Role:
We are looking for an experienced PORT CAPTAIN for marine and offshore patrolling and supply operations with solid experience in the local Saudi ARAMCO and/or GCC Market that will have the following responsibilities.
* Shall have at least four (4) years' experience as Master on the type of vessel they are assigned to. Current vessels are Supply Vessels and Security Patrolling Vessels and fleet is growing.
* Shall be a qualified Master, STCW II/2 licensed for his position and capable of operating any of the above vessels contracted
* Shall at all times be able to take over as temporary Master on the assigned vessels.
* Must be capable to handle All aspects of Vessel shore support including crew administration, management, movement, assignment and familiarization.
* Report to the Proponent and QA&CU all Vessel defect and breakdowns.
* Notifying any planned crew movements or change accordingly.
* Ensuring every candidate Officer completes the required Familiarization with Marine Department Offshore Manual for General Operational Guidance for Chartered Vessels and associated procedures as mentioned in Specifications & Requirements
* Ensures that crew members are booked for travel on the appropriate crew change dates to the correct locations.
* Minimize travel expenses through planning and utilization of any/all available discounts with the Travel department.
* Ensure our chartered vessels are properly crewed and operated.
* Maintain a calendar tracking crew member's time off and ensure the Company has proper crewing.
* Keep crew schedule updated and operations apprised of any fleet needs.
* Assists in scheduling crew changes and calling crew members.
* Provide various billing and administrative support for dispatch.
* Assist with the on boarding of new crew members.
* Contact and schedule maintenance and repairs with vendors and sub-contractors for facility issues as needed.
* Monitor time frames/deadlines for warranty items and regularly scheduled facility maintenance.

Requirements
* Maritime industry experience required.
* Knowledge of oil transportation industry preferred.
* Ability to get along with office staff and vessel crew members.
* Ability to understand and execute communications.
* Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
* Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal or no guidance.
* SAUDI ARAMCO and Arabian Gulf Experience is highly preferred
