The Role:
* Responsible for ensuring that execution of projects are managed and delivered in an effective manner
* Primary interface between the client and the Company.
* Assist in developing appropriate organisational project capabilities.
* Liaises closely with Engineering and Projects Team to ensure the technical requirements of all activities are managed and delivered in accordance with business requirements and to maintain awareness of, and control exposure to, operational and commercial risk.

* Technical capabilities
o Transportation and installation of offshore facilities, particularly floating structures e.g. FPSO, MOPU in areas such as
 Lifting - Dynamic positioning (DP) vessels and non-DP vessels
 Floatovers
 SBM and subsea structures
 Pipelay conventional methods ('S' and/or 'J' lay method)
 Tow, reeling, flexible and/or other methods
 Cable and umbilical
 Offshore facility decommissioning
 Hook-up
o Fixed structures (preferred)
* Scheduling of projects from concept to completion, including detailed planning of work scopes, schedules and writing of procedures
* Overall management of IM work scopes including the management of internal resources and any external subcontractors
* Ensure all work carried out is in accordance with agreed client contracts
* Ensure all work is performed to the requirements of recognized standards, with every methodology and offshore task designed to reduce the risk of harm to personal, assets and the environment to as low as is reasonably practical
* Provide support to construction/installation teams and clients regarding any aspects relating to IM work scopes both onshore and offshore
* Ensure project is carried out safely, within the budget, on time and according to department procedures and QA standards
* Project administration and documentation, incl project procedures and software set-up
* Attend project meetings as necessary
* Contribute to daily operational safety and JSA briefings
* Participate in the preparation of tender documents, technical and budgetary evaluation of bids and contract awards
* Communicate with Sales/Business Development/Commercial Function and with the customer to fully understand the requirements of the projects assigned to him/her and the contract specifications
* Develop effective operational communication with the customer
* Determine technical solutions, methods, resource requirements and develop a work plan for the most efficient operation for projects assigned
* Assign tasks, assemble and brief field crew personnel and execute relevant work plans
* Manage, monitor and motivate field crew throughout the project
* Participate in the continuous improvement of offshore operations including discussing possible operational improvements with management; other project managers and chief surveyor.
* Finalise project reporting, close out, recovery and recording of lessons learnt
* Foster and grow external contacts in business and externally in industry
* Provide support in project management within the region
* Comply with Company's quality, safety, environmental management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner minimizing harm to the environment.
* To ensure his/ her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
* Conduct all activities in accordance with the Company's Policies and Procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture
* 10 years experience in engineering & construction projects in Oil & Gas industry
* Project management experience within the Oil & Gas industry
* Basic understanding of planning tools
* Effective communication and leadership skills
* Experienced in managing multiple fast paced engineering projects
* Good planning and organisational skills
* High level of communication skills in both written and verbal
* Technical Analysis Knowledge
* Experienced in hydrodynamic / structural analysis software
* Offshore Survival Training & Necessary Medicals
* Effective/competent MS Office Suite User
* Transportation and installation of offshore facilities operations experience
* Rigmoving, Floater tow, mooring installation or anchor handling operations experience
* Hook-up operations experience
