The Role:
Work location: Shekou, China
Contract duration: 4 months (extension possibility)

The ideal candidate:
* Expert knowledge of FPSO/FPU deep-water mooring system design & analysis (in-place and installation)
* Knowledge of handling key mooring components both onshore/offshore locations.
* In-depth understanding of deep-water mooring system industry best practice
* Offshore experience on Anchor Handling / Offshore Construction Vessels, conducting at least two (2) deep-water mooring system installations with water depth of 400m and 1000m
* Experience in the planning and execution of deep-water moorings installation in the offshore mooring system business sector.

Essential Skills:
* Minimum 10-15 years' experience in the analysis and engineering of deep-water moorings installation in the offshore mooring system business sector.
* Extensive experience of marine dynamics analysis software such as Orcaflex, GMOOR, AQWA, etc, conducting at least two deep-water mooring system installation analyses
* Extensive experience of structural engineering analysis software such as STAAD, ANSYS, etc.
* B.Eng / B.Sc in Naval Architecture or equivalent Engineering / Science discipline.
