The Role:
* Act as Centre Co-ordinator, administering the company's current competence related approvals: OPITO Competence Assessor & Internal Verifier and SQA L&D 9Di and L&D11 in accordance with relevant standards and company competence procedure.
* Take responsibility for the management of the internal progressing of competence portfolios, through assessment and verification (including certification), in line with company competence procedure.
* Act as Focal, liaising with Clients and Lead Assessor for the co-ordination of the OPITO & SQA Assessor/Verifier programs.
* Liaison for required logistics in relation to the provision of competence services, including training programmes, assessment and verification services, consultancy and 3rd party contract assessment personnel, liaising with the internal operations & logistics department.
* Produce portfolios and other training materials, assessment recording pro formas, and all competence related documentation.
* Maintain accurate portfolio progress monitoring and client individual reporting in accordance with company competence procedure and in accordance with OPITO requirements.
* Set up and administer document control in relation to revisions of all competence related materials, liaise with Product Development Manager to assure quality check is conducted in accordance with company competence procedure.
* Responsible for liaising with Assessors and Verifiers to ensure timely and accurate processing of all completed assessments within the approvals categories listed.
* Effective filing and storage of all assessment related documentation, in accordance with OPITO requirements and company procedure (to include legislation on data protection).
* Initiate monthly contact with all registered OPITO and SQA candidates, manage responses between Candidates, internal Assessor and the Internal Verifier, ensuring records of updates are maintained.
* Working with the Competence Lead Assessor to set up and maintain the company competence verification sampling plan.
* Administer the Assessment Team resource pool, to include: Induction Program, Internal company competence system: VoC, Certification, CPD activity and standardisation involvement, in accordance with awarding body approval requirements and company competence procedure.
