The Company: Based in Brisbane, a highly reputable Engineering Company who has delivered quality projects within the Rail, Civil and Construction industries for over 50 years.

The Role: A Senior Signalling Engineer to undertake and manage expert signalling activities for a wide array of clients and partners across key sectors of the rail industry. This company is heavily involved in key projects on the East Coast of Australia meaning the successful applicant will be exposed to vast opportunities to deliver and grow their skillset.

This position is crucial to managing the application of safe and compliant signalling within design, testing and commission.

Role Purpose:

  • Manage the production, verification and approvals of large, complex and detailed signalling designs
  • Effective management of finances and contractual obligations for key stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional technical expertise to track the delivery of the program and to provide advice to both clients and staff
  • Timely and accurate preparation of detailed signalling scope, functional specifications, design plans and technical reports
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship working with a team of Engineers for the design, development and implementation of projects
  • Adherence to all Quality Assurance and Occupational, Health and Safety Standards

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Degree Qualified Engineer and RPEQ or CPEng
  • 10 years' minimum experience
  • Experience with QR or MTM competencies
  • Hold or working towards IRSE
