The Role:
We are looking for an experienced consultant/s to support our client's growing team based in Aberdeen and elsewhere in the UK. You will develop operating procedures, lead training, offer strategic advice and act as partner in health, safety and environmental management systems in alignment with client's local and international requirements. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert international consulting team on challenging HSE management projects as well as exciting major capital projects for large global clients.

Opportunities exist for those with strengths in Environmental risk management, HSE management systems development, offshore auditing and EIA/permits background to support projects at all phases of the exploration and production lifecycle and into Operational and Decommissioning phases. You will have the opportunity to not only work with our Aberdeen and UK clients, but also on our global projects working with international the client's global colleagues.

* Perform compliance and system audits to assess project compliance with applicable health and safety or environmental regulatory requirements, corporate standards, or management systems.
* Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings.
* Provide technical assistance on HSE compliance and HSE management system projects
* Design and implement HSE management systems and programmes for clients.
* Develop HSE compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
* Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
* Support Partners and other Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.
* Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.
* Build strong collaborative relationships with other employees.

* Experience typically demonstrated by 7-12 years of working in the O&G Sector,
* Consultancy experience desired, ideally supplemented with additional Operational/Exploration/Major Project exposure
* Broad HSE (Management Systems, Training/Competency , Auditing, BPEO, BAT, ENVID and Design Reviews) with Technical Risk experience preferable
* Demonstrable experience of managing large, complex, multidisciplinary or global projects and project teams
* Strong market facing and commercial acumen, with proven track record of business development and sales
* North Sea experience essential including valid BOSIET certification
* Some impact assessment experience would be advantageous and could form a large part of the role should this area be a strength. This could have been gained in an operational or consultancy role and on E&P or downstream projects.
* Candidates that have managed teams of specialists in the preparation of ES and broader ESIA experience would be particularly welcomed, either in the UK or internationally.
* Technical expertise in modelling pollutant pathways and satisfying regulatory requirements would be a plus.

Core Skills - As a senior member of staff you will be able to provide technical support and coaching to other team members and represent in client-facing roles. You will have an ability to build and support productive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and have a flair for business development with exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
