The Role:
Are you a Quality Engineer growing frustrated with the lack of development in your current role? Would a role working for one of the largest providers of components to the aircraft market provide you with a fresh new challenge in your career?
Working closely alongside the other members of the quality team, you would help to be the interface between both operations and manufacturing:
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Improve the satisfaction of customer and suppliers across the whole business
- Drive a zero defect culture using standard tools & processes
- Support the quality management system to ensure compliance to all requirements (AS9100)
- Using 8D's and other problem solving tools to get the root cause of issues
- Ensure full containment of all quality related issues is conducted both internally in a timely manner
- Reduce non-conformances from within the production line
- You will be the first point of contact with a specific customer who you will be allocated at the time

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- A HNC, HND or an engineering degree or a relevant field
- Application of measurement, analysis or continuous improvement tools
- Knowledge of all major root cause analysis techniques including 8D
- Relevant industry experience in a QA role (medical devices, mechatronics, defence or aerospace)
- Excellent communication and stake holder management skills with the ability to work from C-Suite to shop floor level
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- A lean manufacturing qualification would be highly desirable
