The Role:
Defining and managing the Refrigeration product(s) and value proposition.

Ensure the specifications and paths to delivery for 'first order' product and in-market upgrade are tightly defined and enabled for delivery.

Ensure requirements from all stakeholders have sufficient validation and traceability to enable informed commitment to by the business.

Identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).

* Develop and maintain product strategy and vision and roadmap
* Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
* Commission market and competitor research (for insights needed to establish and validate customer segment needs and market sizes)
* Establish and run product customer and user groups/panels to elicit customer needs and feedback to bring the voice of the customer into the business, and disseminate findings throughout the business
* Run product feature and development trials
* Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
* Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings
* Write and own Requirements for Minimum Viable Product and Post-Launch Product upgrades and interactions
* Aggregate pilot performance data for development inputs
* Write business cases for product investments and gain internal approval

* Develop and deliver go to market launch plans
* Propose a product marketing plans and budgets and then deliver against them
* Develop core positioning and messaging for the product
* Define product demos and
* Determine product pricing by utilising market research and competitor data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volumes.

* Provide management information on product development progress and short-term and long-term product sales forecasts
* Develop and deliver go to market launch plans
* Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions and other mechanisms

* Meet regularly with all stakeholders, including product technical developers, marketing, sales, customer contacts, finance and company heads
* Demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders and inspire and enthuse colleagues and users of the product.
* Deliver a regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue and profit forecasts.

* Be the recognised expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition.
* Work closely with Development/Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standard
* Evangelise the product internally and externally

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Min 5 years previous experience in similar market and position
* Experience in Regulatory affairs
* Previous experience in running a similar operation
* A proven track record of working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end
