The Role: Based in Surrey
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to carry out electrical design and development work for the RTT product line. This will require experience of electrical design in an industrial machinery context including the design of; control panels, control systems and 3 phase systems to the relevant industry and safety standards.

The key responsibilities of this role are:
* Act as a point of contact for all electrical design aspects of the RTT system including design
* Analysing existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements.
* Work with other Company electrical engineering resources to ensure detailed drawings are accurately generated.
* Work in collaboration with Systems, Mechanical and Electronic Engineers as part of the design team.
* Support the manufacturing team during production and assembly.
* Support Service, Installation and Commissioning teams.
* Manage sub-contractors to ensure designed parts are built to requirements/tolerances and to schedule.
* Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation for Engineering Releases.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive experience of Autocad Electrical or equivalent package gained in an industrial machinery context
Experience of designing control panels, control systems
Work to safety standards

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Design for EMC compatibility highly desirable
Degree/HND qualified in an Engineering discipline although relevant experience may be considered.
10 years electrical design experience ideally with industrial machinery.
