The Role:
Construction Coordinator
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives. Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS). Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.
* Act as focal point for planning and tracking progress for the fabrication, MC, load out activities associated with the timely delivery of the Okpo fabrication scope.
* Supports Module Delivery Lead Project Engineers (MDLPE) whom are responsible for
o the timely delivery of a group of Pre-Assembled Modules (PAUs) inclusive of structural fabrication and assembly,
o Piping fabrication and installation , equipment placement and mechanical outfitting,
o Electrical and Instrumentation installation
o Testing of piping systems / E&I systems
o Preparation of PAUs for shipment / sail away requiring de-stacking (horizontal splitting) of assembled PAUs,
o Disconnection of piping, and E&I systems
o Preservation of equipment and systems
o Loadout and secure PAUs onto ocean transport vessels.
* Participate in 3D Model reviews to ensure constructability, human factors engineering, operability and maintainability requirements and standards are included and understood.
* Understand the requirements of the contract fabrication Scope of Works inclusive of all aspects including schedule and look ahead plans for all disciplines. Ensures work is in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost control estimates
* Interfaces with Quality and Engineering Teams to insure all work scopes are in compliance with project requirements / specifications, any corrections, additions, re-work identified by Quality or Engineering is performed accordingly.
* Assist in maintaining effective schedule reporting control functions of the project and ensures adherence to these practices.
* Establish daily contact with Fabrication Contractor supervision forming good relationships.
* Develop excellent working relationships with Company and Contractors teams assisting Fabrication Contractor in all his endeavors and objectives observing quality codes and standards.
* Maintain high standards of attitude and behaviour throughout the site and offsite.
* Monitor and reports work activities and manpower requirements to meet established completion dates, monitors craft personnel levels, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules. Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets
* Prepares and issues weekly / monthly status reports as required
* Interfaces with Quality and Engineering Teams to insure all work scopes are in compliance with project requirements / specifications, any corrections, additions, re-work identified by Quality or Engineering is performed accordingly
* Maintain Fabrication Action Register and Decision Logs
* Population and Maintenance for Fabrication MS Access Data
* Supports Module Delivery Lead Project Engineers in identifying and resolving any conflicts / errors / omissions identified on daily / routine basis.

The Company:
A multi-national Oil and Gas Operator involved in a World Class Expansion Development being fabricated in Korea.
The Role
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (2 years+) role for an experienced Construction Coordinator to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje Island on an Expat basis (Visa Sponsorship Available) and will report to the Construction Manager - Korea for this Worl

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience with a proven ability to work with contractor personnel.
* Commitment to HSSE Leadership, mentoring and coaching
* Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
* Skills demonstrating the capability to run a large project
* High critical thinking/reasoning ability
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
* Effective communication skills
* Previous Korean Yards Experience preferred but not essential
* Fabrication Construction Experience in interface management a benefit
