The Role:
Job Title: Contracts Advisor Land
Location: Farnborough
Work Pattern - 9/80 (9 day fortnight, every other Friday off)

Reports to Title: Land Delivery Manager

Position Details:
The Contracts Advisor Land is responsible for coordinating project contracting activities, and ensuring compliance with companies policies and procedures. The Contracts Advisor assists in the development of project contracting strategies and plans, market analysis, bid document preparation, issue of bids, supplier clarifications, evaluation and negotiation activities, and preparation and coordination of contract documentation for award. The Contracts Advisor manages coordination of contract mobilizations and administration and management of project logistic service contracts. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining interfaces with key stakeholders of the project.
Accountable for:
This position reports to the Lead Contracts Advisor. The Contracts Advisor will act as support for the Scope Owner, ensuring:
* All Contractual correspondence, change requests and invoicing is managed efficiently and on time.
* Communications procedure is followed; and a focus on data discipline and integrity is maintained
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
* As a member of the Contracts Team, ensure timely execution of Logistics related contracts
* Assist in management of the administration and commercial activities of the Land Contracts to ensure that Contractor's performance and deliverables meet project and company requirements
* Specifically, the role will support the Contract Owner and Lead Contract Advisor with regard to any interface with the logistics Contractors
* Ensure all Project requirements are satisfied; and manage commercial assurance audits of Contractor performance

Minimum Years of Industry Specific Experience: 5
Minimum Years of Total Experience: 10
Required Skills/Attributes:
* Will be able to work in a team environment and work along with Senior Management requirements and tasks
* Well versed in developing change documents and formal correspondence
* Ability to review and verify complex invoicing documentation
* Demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving
* Excellent information management skills
* Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work in other countries
* High level of competence in MS Office: Word, Powerpoint and Excel
* Strong communication skills; must be able to work to strict deadlines and provide detailed reports
* Ability to work unsupervised using initiative
* Team player, able to propose better ways of collaborative working

Preferred Skills/Attributes:
* Previous experience of logistics and planning desirable
* Post Award Contracts Management experience

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Right of residency and able to work in UK
EU passport and able to travel worldwide if required
