The Role:
· Responsible for the oversight of the activities of the Construction Inspectors assigned to him/her.
· Ensures that the Construction within his/her control is safe, cost­ effective, constructible and timely.
· Has ability to immediately recognize typical oilfield material types and differences and develop a working knowledge of the project specifications, as well as the referenced industry standards, and must be able to read and thoroughly understand piping drawings, isometrics and shop drawings.
· Replaces a Construction Inspector as the need arises.
· Ensures Contractor is adhering to the Company's SOP's and proactively corrects any deviations.
· Investigates any outstanding or punch list items or concerns and provides timely responses to project team members.
· Must be knowledgeable in oil and gas production.
· Communicates regularly and constructively with the Company Site Representative, Project Engineer, Operations Representatives, Scheduler, project safety representatives, project logistics coordinator and production and maintenance personnel.
· Ensures proper installation and handling of Company assets at the various project sites by the Contractor
· Review, advises and monitors anchor handling operations, lift plans and marine activities

The Company:
Our client is a major Oil and Gas Company

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher National Certificate or equivalent trade certification is required. Full understanding of construction codes in line with the subject discipline is required.
· Experience working on Offshore/Onshore existing facilities (Brownfield)
is high desirable
· ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NDE Certifications will all be considered.
· Good computer skills and fluent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required.
· Fluent in the English language both spoken and written.
· Minimum 15 years of offshore or onshore construction supervision experience (depending on project need), international experience is preferred.
