The Role:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (2 years+) role for an experienced Engineering Technical Assistant to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje on a Local basis (No Visa Sponsorship available) and will report to the Reporting to the Fabrication Project Engineering Manager- Okpo for this World Class Project

* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives
* Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS).
* Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Carry out all task in accordance with Project Execution and Site Engineering procedures.
* Reporting on a day-to-day basis to the Fabrication Engineering Coordinator
* Interaction, facilitation and coordination with key information providers and stakeholders including the Fabrication Contractors, the Fabrication Delivery team, Engineering and Commissioning / Turnover teams
* Training/knowledge of specific software being used by Project
Key activities:
1. Provide administrative support to the overall Site Engineering Team, undertaking day-to-day task as required to facilitate internal workflows (i.e. Redline Master Management, Technical Queries & Shop Drawing/Document reviews, Vendor Package ModPacks and Carryover Work, Mechanical Completion, System/Sub-system Handover documentation)
2. Monitor, track and expedite project document reviews by Site Engineering Team.
3. Follow up on outstanding Document control issues.
4. Maintain and monitor engineering document tracking list and registers (DCN, MDR, FCN, TEA, SIQ, Site Instruction, RIMS, Document Audit and Clash Reports)
5. Coordinate inputs from Engineering team to prepare reports and revise technical documentation when required.
6. Work with team to address and rectify quality issues with data required for reporting.
7. Assist in analyzing schedule and quality performance of Site Engineering Processes and report out on key metrics to drive improvement and efficiency in systems.
8. Extract, manipulate and import data to systems, using applications such as Excel, Access and similar tools
9. Prepare & check associated engineering documents (such as drawings, technical illustrations, manuals, reports when appropriate) and ensure they are completed within the required timescales
10. Identify solutions to problems in assigned task and ensure timely delivery of all assigned task.
11. Carry out any other reasonable duties when requested by a line manager
* Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets.

The Company:
A multi-national Oil and Gas Operator involved in a World Class Expansion Development being fabricated in Korea.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
With a technical degree or senior technician background and or with significant experience in a complex engineering, commissioning or fabrication environment, the successful candidate will be able use his or her own initiative under general guidance from local and remote functional management.

* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* The ability to successfully collaborate within a multi-cultural environment
* A careful eye for detail and works to a high degree of accuracy whilst maintaining output
* Able to understand, evaluate and apply technical information
* Advanced knowledge in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office software; specifically, Microsoft Excel and Access Databases (VBA, Macro, Pivot Tables and Queries).
* Working knowledge and use of Engineering Design Model tools (PDMS, SP3D Navisworks)
* Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of data management tools; having had extensive exposure to databases and data analysis and fundamental
