The Role:
* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives
* Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS).
* Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.
* Reporting on a day-to-day basis to the Discipline Project Engineer
* Interaction, facilitation and coordination with key information providers and stakeholders including the Fabrication Contractors, the Company Delivery team, Engineering and Commissioning / Turnover teams
* Key activities:
1. Overall technical responsibility for Heavy Haul and Heavy Lift activities for TCO in Korea
2. Construction Engineering Assurance (design checks of temporary supports, lift plans, etc)
3. Ensure safe execution of all critical lifts, block transports, loadouts and turnover operations for TCO
4. Oversee development of lift plans and provide technical oversight to DSME and DSHI
5. Review of Contractor's structural design models
6. Assist in design interface between Engineering Contractor and Fabrication Contractor with regards to transport and lifting activities
7. Resolve Engineering issues that arise during lifting operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* The ability to successfully collaborate within a multi-cultural environment
* Strong analytical skills, having had extensive exposure to Structural Engineering analysis and drafting software (STAAD, AutoCAD, SACS, etc)
* Experience reviewing engineering design and communicating technical corrections effectively to Contractor's engineering team
* Detailed understanding of AISC design requirements and practice
* Detailed knowledge of industry Engineering standards for lifting and heavy haul operations
* Strong experience with a variety of common lifting and heavy transport devices used by oil and gas industry
* Prior lift and heavy transport design and planning experience on major oil and gas projects
* Strong understanding of technical and safety requirements of international standards for lifting operations (i.e. DNV)
* Demonstrated flexibility to travel and report to work on short notice to support major o

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Preferably a good understanding of the Company (TCO/Chevron/Exxon) technical requirements and expectations.
* Previous Chevron/ XOM experience
* Experience with Russia/Kazakhstan standards (GOST, SNiP, etc)
* Prior experience working with Company assurance team located within DSME or another major Korean fabricator's facility
* Knowledge of DSME manufacturing drawing systems and notation
* Strong understanding of lifting practice in Korean Fabrication yards
