The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of all testing activities in module areas with Contractor and Subcontractors including hydrotest package development. The Hydrotest Lead Coordinator is responsible managing Area Hydrotest Coordinators to ensure pre-hydrotest walk downs completed, tests witnessed and reinstatement done as per the procedure. He/she is responsible all testing activities are coordinated with Company QC and Piping and Instrumentation Superintendents.
The successful candidate will ensure all deficiencies are identified, punch categories are properly assigned, timely cleared or elevated to an appropriate construction management level.
The successful candidate is expected to address and troubleshoot any construction technical issues within the discipline and will propose engineering solutions to the Company construction execution teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Supports all HES Activities / Initiatives
* Observes for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participates in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS).
* Fully supports and participates in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Adheres to Project Execution Procedures
* Ensures that all testing activities are conducted as per the Hydrotest and Flushing Procedure. Liaise closely with Piping Superintendent, Flange Management Superintendent to ensure both (Hydrotest & FM Procedures) are strictly adhered to prior to hydrotest activities commencing.
* Ensures that reinstatements are completed to strictly meet the requirements of Build it Clean Procedure.
* Ensures that Test packs are reviewed for completeness and compliance by managing Hydrotest Coordinators. Manages his team to cover all Hydrotest activities in the module areas at all required times.
* Works very closely with the Field Engineers to make sure that the test pack documentation (marked up P&ID, Test Pack Isometrics, NDE clearance certificate, test pack procedure, test pack check sheets etc.) are checked and signed off acceptable prior to test commencing.
* Ensures all completed test documentation is signed off as accepted by all relevant authorities
* Interfaces closely with HSE department to ensure that all required safeguards are in place, test boundaries and limits are well communicated, barrier management has been mutually agreed and is enforced prior to test commencing.
* Attends daily superintendent meetings to report back progress to management, also be informed and notify of any significant issues that may affect his testing schedule.
* Liaises closely with Module Delivery Leads to ensure the Hydrotest schedule is aligned with the construction test pack completion schedule. Review sequence of work with Contractors Hydrotest Team and assist with the prioritization of the test packs to best meet the required completion dates.
* Builds an open and honest working relationship with the DSME Hydrotest team

The Company:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (3 years+) role for an experienced Hydro test Lead Coordinator be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Okpo on a local basis (No Visa Sponsorship Available) and will report to the Reporting to Hydrotest and Flange Management Supervisor - Korea for this World Class Project

* Fabrication Delivery Team (Client and its supporting staff; all disciplines, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Construction)
* Contractors (DSME and its Subcontractors; all disciplines, Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
* Mechanical Completion Team
* De-Stacking Team

Additional: Principal location Okpo, but may travel on as-needed basis to Shinhan (DSHI) Yard for interface meetings
