The Role:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (3 years+) role for an experienced Loadout Coordinator to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje Island on either an Expat or Local basis) and will report to the Reporting to the Logistic Process Manager for this World Class Project
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* As part of the Ocean Transportation Group on site at Fabrication Yard, provide load out assurance role in the Fabrication Yard. This is an assurance role and will observe load-out operation and will be involved in the planning of load-outs

Accountable for:

* Ensuring compliance with the Ocean Contract, Ocean Transport SOW, MWS Contract and SOW and Project's processes and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient marine operation

* Ensuring the Vessel Contractor's representatives on site are complying with all Project's safety, environmental requirements and applicable laws and regulations

Responsibilities:

* Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager on site at the Fabrication Yard
* Work closely with Fabrication group on PAUs/Modules load-out schedule
* Review and assist, as needed, with the development and implementation of the cargo load-out plan
* Ensure land transportation methodology and manuals are approved by all relevant parties
* Provide PAU loading schedule updates to Shipping Operations
* Liaise with Carrier's on site PIC concerning PAUs to be loaded, load-out schedule, load-out plan and procedures
* Ensure loadout methodology and manuals are approved by all relevant parties
* Ensure seafastening engineering is approved by all relevant parties
* Ensure that the sailing plan has been issued and approved by all parties
* Ensure that all exportation documentation required by Ocean ship is onboard prior to sailaway
* Liaise with Fabrication to ensure all marine operations are conducted safely, following the stowage (load plan) and address any conflicts with planned operations to Fabrication and the Logistics Operations Manager
* Attend all meetings involving loading operations with Fabrication Yard and vessels
* Liaise with the LOC Marine Warranty Surveyor on all load-outs
* Assist, as directed by Logistics Operations Manager, on sail-away inspections with the MWS
* Maintain a time log of all cargo activities before, during and after load-out of PAUs
* Support administrative activities within the team as and when required
* As directed, assist in the development of standardized marine policies and procedures for internal Project Ocean Shipping organization in the Fabrication Yard
* Participate in learning look backs for voyages with the Logistics Operations Manager

The Company:
A multi-national Oil and Gas Operator involved in a World Class Expansion Development being fabricated in Korea.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Years of Industry Specific Experience: 6 - 10 years

Minimum Years of Total Experience: 6 - 10 years

Required Skills/Attributes:

* Fluent in English in reading, writing and oral communications
* Experience working in marine cargo operations and specifically RO/RO operations
* Experience/knowledgeable with fundamental vessel loading/discharging, stability and ballast operations
* Marine experience (Deck officer, cargo vessels, cargo superintendent/surveyor, heavy lift)
* Alternatively, experience in a similar role in a fabrication yard with load-out of modules similar or larger than FGP modules/PAUs

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Skills/Attributes:
* Experience working within a joint venture, multi-office project team environment
* Familiar with SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO and marine industry guidelines
* Must be able to provide a good understanding and efficiency in all Microsoft office products, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Functional Korean an advantage
