The Role:
Managing and oversight of the Automation scope in implementation of control systems / field instrumentation and system architecture, balancing schedule / resources to ensure milestones are met.
Prioritizing activities and breaking down barriers to enable construction and commissioning teams to be successful in achieving joint goals by influencing others.
Work with MAC engineering team to develop / review processes and procedures for constructability and commissioning.
Track and report progress to the Asset leads of outstanding scope which is required to be completed to support mechanical completion and RFSU schedule dates.
Provide interface with engineering teams on emerging issues to closeout resolution with effective use of management of change
Ensure technical support is available to meet the project needs. Review progress and schedule with the Construction/CSU Leads to ensure milestones and waypoints are met assessing risk to schedule and elevating when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
15-20 year's experience in oil and gas industry with previous experience working in a lead role on a major capital project with a bias towards Automation and electrical project engineering and construction/commissioning management. Extensive background within Automation engineering, construction and testing of process automation systems in essential. Demonstrated ability to track, manage and communicate schedule. Must work well in a cross-cultural, multifunctional team, and effectively manage multiple interfaces. Proven ability to establish safe working culture and commits to and champions the implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
