The Role:
Reporting to the RIWS Transportation Manager, this position acts in an assurance role to oversee the Contractor's execution of operational activities within the RIWS, with a focus on Safe, Reliable and Efficient management of the Module Carrying Vessel (MCV) Fleet.


* Supervisor of Marine Specialist positions located in Russia
* Assure MCV Contractors Operational Planning and execution activities
* Day to day problem solving with Contractors
* Interface between Operations Room and Contractors to ensure that assets are being effectively utilised and that MCV fleet is supporting the module delivery schedule
* Day to day Contract Management activities on behalf of the Company Representative - Goods and services receipt/confirmation, daily tasking and direction and issuing formal work instructions
* Coordinating interface meetings between Contractors to help resolve any issues/inefficiencies
* Act as Responsible Engineer for review, approval and consolidation of comments for MCV related project operational documentation
* Lead Company involvement (where required) for Incident Investigation and Reporting for MCV related incidents
* Assist RIWS Transportation Manager with Budget and Financial management of MCV Contract
* Conduct visits to Transhipment Bases, Russian Ports, MCVs, the Caspian and other areas as directed to ensure visibility, safety leadership and assurance of field execution
* Support and assist with the coaching and mentoring of crews in conjunction with the Contractors.
* Proactively collect information and provide reports, analysis and lessons learnt reference past season activity for our vessels and other operations within the system
* Actively engage with RIWS MCV
* Liaise with and engage vessel Operator for vessels winter season lay-up preparation, maintenance and spring season readiness activities
* Actively engage with vessel RIWS Operators reference vessels operational condition (repairs and break downs, PMS execution, spare parts availability on board)
* Liaise with Company Marine Safety, Reliability and Efficiency and Project HES procedures and assure the contractor's implementation of these requirements.
* Assist with similar activities in relation to Caspian MCVs when and where required during periods of peak activity in the Caspian or during periods where Caspian Marine are on leave or involved in other activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Years of Industry Specific Experience: 6 - 10 years
Minimum Years of Total Experience: 10 years
* Marine background with experience serving as Deck Officer/Engineer or related equivalent project Marine experience.
* Project Management experience - in particular with management of Contractors or Sub Contractors
* Understanding of, and experience with Heavy Transport Operations
* Experience with ballasting operations of large Ro-Ro cargo activities
* Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
* Module Movement Experience
* Experience working in Russia and within the RIWS.
