The Role:
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (2 years+) role for an experienced Project engineer - Redlines/Handover to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje on a Local basis (No Visa Sponsorship available) and will report to the Reporting to the Fabrication engineering coordinator - Okpo, Korea for this World Class Project

* Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives
* Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS).
* Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and trades personnel.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Carry out all task in accordance with Project Execution and Site Engineering procedures.
* Reporting on a day-to-day basis to the Fabrication Engineering Coordinator
* Interaction, facilitation and coordination with key information providers and stakeholders including the Fabrication Contractors, the Fabrication Delivery team, Engineering and Commissioning / Turnover teams
* Training/knowledge of specific software being used by the project
* Key activities:
1. Execution Coordination of the Fabrication Site Master Redlining Process.
a) Understand and communicate Redline Management requirements through presentations and training on procedure, tool and processes to the project team
b) Implement verification processes to ensure integrity of the redlining program and database is maintained.
c) Manage redline backlog clearance subcontract team; prepare work packs, resolve workflow coordination / technical issues, monitor progress against plan.
d) Analyze the schedule and quality performance of Redline updates and expedite, collaborate and propose intervention should it be required.
e) Prepare and communicate reports showing status and areas requiring improvement
f) Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Redline Management workflows and coordinate and document improvements.
g) Coordinate submission fabrication final redline (as-built) from the yard, company review/stamp requirement and finalization to meet module FRB compilation requirements.
h) Maintain and update Fabrication Offshore Master Redlines Procedure, and training files.
2. Execution coordination of the Change Management Process
a) Understand and communicate Change Management requirements through presentations and training on procedure, tool and processes to the project team
b) Implement verification processes to ensure integrity of the change management program and database is maintained.
c) Ensure all Change Management processes deliver concise, comprehensive descriptions of changes that communicate the full scope of changes to all involved parties.
d) Analyze quality performance of Change Management processes, collaborate and propose intervention should it be required.
e) Maintain and update Fabrication Change Management Procedures, and training files.
3. Provide support in engineering planning and reporting activities.
a) Maintenance of Fabrication Engineering reporting program.
b) Review engineering reports for accuracy, highlight and resolve data discrepancies.
c) Perform data analysis and generate summary reports.
d) Provide input into Bi-Weekly Fabrication Module Reports.
4. Prepare & check associated engineering documents (such as drawings, technical illustrations, manuals, reports when appropriate) and ensure they are completed within the required timescales
5. Identify solutions to problems in assigned task and ensure timely delivery of all assigned task.
6. Carry out any other reasonable duties when requested by a line manager
* Understand KPI targets and monitor progress and have a perspective towards the contractor focus on meeting targets

* Minimum 5 years' experience in project engineering or coordination role at Fabrication site, interfacing with Fabrication Engineering and Construction Team.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* The ability to successfully collaborate within a multi-cultural environment
* A careful eye for detail and works to a high degree of accuracy whilst maintaining output
* Able to understand, evaluate and apply technical information
* Advanced knowledge in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office software; specifically, Microsoft Excel (VBA, Macro, Pivot Tables and Queries).
* Working knowledge and use of Engineering Design Model tools (PDMS, SP3D NAVIS works)
* Good knowledge and understanding of the engineering and construction work processes.
* Excellent understanding of engineering document content, appreciation of quality data for reporting.
* Experience in document management processes and function; including web-based document management systems utilized by multinational engineering firms
