The Role:
This position is based in Woking UK, transitioning into Kazakhstan. Quality Lead will interface with the Main Automation Contractor (MAC). This position is responsible for Quality Management (QA & QC) of MAC Offshore & Onshore contracts.

Detailed Responsibilities:
Provides functional Quality oversight of MAC Scopes of Work, Offshore (e.g. UK, S.Korea, Europe) & Onshore (e.g. Kazakhstan).
Lead multi-disciplined Operator team of Quality personnel. Work with Quality teams to meet Quality objectives and implement Lessons Learned.
Facilitates risk-based approach to quantify and mitigate risks and implement audit plans. Support audits as a Lead Auditor or Auditor when specified by audit plans.
Coordinate with Contractor to establish Quality KPI`s and monitor contractor performance.
Provides Quality training of personnel.
Provides input to Delivery Manager regarding Quality organisation and staffing. Assists in planning and resourcing Quality team.
Assists Delivery Manager to resolve Quality related issues/concerns, audits, inspections and to verify robust corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor contractor verification and inspection of project deliverables consistent with criticality assessment, contractual and regulatory obligations.
Verify project plans and procedures are developed in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Verifies project/contracted QC procedures and process controls are being implemented within project designated areas of the fabrication site and project
Verify effective implementation and co-ordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities. Monitor performance of vendor inspections to verify compliance. Monitor contractor audit and inspection reporting and implement improvements.
Monitor project aspects of Quality Control during the fabrication/manufacture, to verify adherence to the company technical requirements and applicable codes, including safety-in-design
Monitor progress of all quality, inspection and testing activities against contractor and sub-contractor ITP's
Verifies compliance with governing standards, approved drawings and approved Inspection and Test Plan.
Coordinates with Contractor and Completions to develop Quality Verification Document (QVD) templates for incorporation into Contractor's ITPs
Verify non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out. Verify effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, preventive action and root cause analysis processes. Maintain quality statistics and implement a contract location specific status tracking system. Implements and maintain quality data management tools
Oversight of Company Provide Items receiving inspection activities and liaise with Materials Group and Purchasing engineers to resolve deficiencies
Leads efforts to provide quality support to the project Preservation programme. Works closely with the Preservation team and reviews contractor quality plans and relevant processes and procedures
Well versed in QA/QC and HSE requirements, ISO standards, specifications, EX environments and Release Certificate process.
Liaises Regulatory Assurance to coordinate ITP activities in accordance with documented and planned requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential: Must have previous Process Automation Quality experience.
This position requires a BSc degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline from an accredited academic institution and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control, including managing quality relating to the contractors scope of work e.g. oil, gas, process automation.
* Lead Auditor qualification preferable
* Demonstrated skills with both written and oral communications in English to articulate complex situations
* Ability to use office automation products
* Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and complete multiple activities over a broad range of activities
* Selected individuals shall have demonstrated capabilities in Quality leadership, Quality Assurance, Quality Control.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate needs to possess strong computer skills and should demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Manages time to meet objectives and recognises possible impact on related functions. Contributes to achievement of team goals and promotes teamwork.
