Senior Electrical Engineer

The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support all HSE Activities / Initiatives. Observe for unsafe acts / unsafe conditions and raise observation cards.
* Participate in Behavioral Based Safety (BBS). Fully support and participate in all Injury and Incident Free (IIF) initiatives through reaching out and communicating with Contractors Staff and craft.
* Compliance with Ethics policies.
* Adheres to Project Execution Procedures.
* Understand the requirements of the contract for the Electrical Scope of Works inclusive of all aspects including schedule. Ensures work is in conformance with plans, schedules, and contractual agreements.
* Maintain high standards of attitude and behaviour throughout the site and offsite.
* Provide supervision and direction of the Client electrical engineering team.
* Support MCC, UPS and Transformer site engineering works:
- MOD PACKs (Carry-over Works)
- Develop scope of work packs for site implementation of changes and carry over works.
- Resolve issues about discrepancies among vendor drawings, PJV deliverables and electrical equipment.
* Coordinate with Client Field Electrical Engineers, I/E coordinators, QC Electrical Inspectors and PJV Engineers for all electrical engineering activities including procedure, schedule, quality standards, communication, reporting, etc.
* Monitor the status of electrical engineering activities e.g. status of failure and deviations, corrective actions required, performance and progress of the activities.
* Support E&I Lead engineer in the management of team resources and execution planning.
* Review and resolve Electrical FCNs, DCNs, RIMs and Technical queries from Yard and Client Construction Team

The Company:
A multi-national Oil and Gas Operator involved in a World Class Expansion Development being fabricated in Korea.
The Role
Joining a Multi-national team based in one of the World's Largest Fabrication yards, this is an exciting long term (3 years+) role for an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to be part of a World Class Development.
The role will be based in Okpo, Geoje Island on an Expat basis (Visa Sponsorship Available) and will report to the Fabrication E&I Lead - Korea for this World

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* BS in Electrical Degree or equivalent
* A minimum of 20+ years of experience with a proven ability to work with contractor personnel.
* Skills demonstrating the capability to run a large project
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* Strong organizational skills
* Previous Korean Yards Experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Commitment to HSSE Leadership, mentoring and coaching
* Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
* Skills demonstrating the capability to run a large project
* High critical thinking/reasoning ability
* Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
* Effective communication skills
