The Role:
Are you a QSHE Manager with experience of IS09001, 14001 and 18001? Do you have a track record of achievements in HSE related activities including audits, risk assessments and actions?

If so, then a role working for a business who supply into the industrial equipment market could well peak your interest. Having recently decided to combine two roles together to create a new management role, you will be part of the senior leadership team and play a key role in ensuring that everyone feels safe in the work place whilst also driving a culture of quality.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Providing hands on support to line management to main a safe working environment and manage all the risks
- Be a hands on expert in all aspects of quality, to help build and operate a reliable production system
- You will manage, lead and deliver against the overall of the programme
- Work closely with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure that quality is designed into new manufacturing processes
- Establish process controls to improve repeatability and reproducibility
- Capture yield and test data to investigate root causes whilst also introducing corrective and preventative actions
- You will be the subject matter expert on site for the business in all matters to do with QSHE
- Proactively communicate all HSE to senior stake holders in the business

The Company:
Our client are a supplier of industrial engineering products to a wide variety of industries including automotive, space and defence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree qualified (an engineering or scientific subject would be preferred)
- Experience of Kaizen and CI techniques
- Knowledge of quality management techniques including FMEAs, 8D and SPC
- Understanding of safety management processes and approaches (risk assessment, audit, safe systems of work, compliance, COSHH)
- You will need familiarity of HSE management systems

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Professional qualifications that are related to safety
- Experience of ISO9001/14001 management systems and audits
