The Role:

* Provide Matching purchase invoices to goods delivery notes/commercial invoices, resolving/advising/notifying any discrepancies and posting through SAGE on a timely basis
* Timely updating import and dual use registers
* Provide daily production reports
* Daily review of min'/max'/re-order points and suggesting, based on past history economic quantities to purchase
* Assisting in reconciling monthly inventory valuations to nominal ledger
* Assisting in inputting results of stock counts and investigating major discrepancies
* Assist in creating regular expediting reports to supply chain and updating system based on responses
* To produce SAGE sales quotes from internal sales department detailed spreadsheets
* To review customer PO's against quote and then generate internal sales order
* To generate work order package for manufacture
* To assist in updating Sage with revised dispatch dates
* To assist in organising/advising couriers of items for dispatch
* To be able to process customer credit card payments
* To be able to process customer payments within Sage
* To undertake credit control duties
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Additional Requirements
* Ability to raise purchase orders for stock and non-stock items
* Answering external calls and directing callers to correct department
* Undertaking any other duties which are assigned to you by management
* Assisting financial controller on ad hoc assignments

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Ability to follow procedures
* Attention to detail e.g. input/amendments to the system, vendor correspondence
* Competent on computerised systems, ideally Sage, and excel
* Ability to process information and investigate issues and use own initiative to resolve problems that may arise
* Well organised
* Attention to detail under pressure and capable of working in a busy office environment
* Self-starter, can prioritise workload to meet client and company requirements
* Flexible, adaptable approach to workload
* Good written and oral communication skills
