The Role:

The Logistics and Stores Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day to day activity of the stores and logistics functions.

The Logistics and Stores Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the department and processing the following in an effective and efficient manner;

* Booking raw materials into the MRP system (Epicor)
* Maintaining accurate inventory levels
* Issuing product / bill of materials to Operations
* Raising purchase orders and shipping product to sub-contract providers
* Raising relevant shipping documentation (Domestic and International)
* Import and Export of finished goods
* Work proactively with various departments to effectively manage the business objectives
* Continuously look for process improvements
* Comply with laws and regulations
* Support packing finished goods as required
* Support unloading and loading vehicle as required

* Deliver world class service
* Working under pressure
* Meeting tight deadlines

* Excellent analytical, problem solving
* Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple projects in tandem
* Ability to make decisions under pressure
* Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stake holder expectations at all levels

Work Experience

* Proven experience working in the Store and Logistics function
* Working knowledge of MRP systems


* Knowledge of an MRP system (Epicor)
* Epicor knowledge would be an advantage
* High level of computer literacy is essential
* Full UK driving license
