The Role:
Are you a Sales Director looking for a new role in the civil / temporary works sector? Do you have experience of implementing sales strategies and driving profits in a technical environment?

If so, then a role working for a business with a heritage of over fifty years could well be worth considering as the next step in your career. Your role as the Sales Director will be to implement sales policy for a geographic area to achieve agreed sales volumes and profit numbers for our Client's projects. We are currently recruiting for the following areas South East as well as the East of the UK.

The key responsibilities of the roles include:
- Manage the sales pipeline ensuring progress is maintained through the commercial process to signed contract.
- Development of sales of our Client's products and services to designated key accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Set sales targets and objectives for regional sales team which will achieve budget numbers.
- Lead, develop and motivate the regional (geographic) sales team to achieve a high performing team.
- Functionally lead a team of Customer Sales Managers within branch providing adhoc expertise, guidance and support to enable them to find and secure sales.
- Working closely with the engineering team and other members of the sales department you will proactively follow up leads with customer visits
- You will provide technical support to branch sales teams
- Develop contacts with designated large building contractors and government agencies in order to drive revenue

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- GCSE A Level education (degree in relevant engineering qualification preferred)
- Experience of operating at a senior sales role in a multi product organisation
- Demonstrate seasoned experience in construction (Temp Works preferred)
- Demonstrate strong customer relationships in construction (Tier I & II)
- You will need a thorough sales methodology with the ability to influence key stakeholders

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- A technical background in the building/construction sector
- Experience of selling into senior stakeholders in blue chip companies
