The Role:
Reporting to (job title) Human Resources Manager

Overall purpose of job :
Responsible to provide generalist Human Resource support to designated departments within the Company. This will include manpower planning, staffing, compensation and benefits administration, employee career planning and talent development, employee and industrial relations, etc. You will also assist in reviewing / developing Human Resources policies and procedures to stay abreast with current market practices

Main activities / tasks :
Talent Acquisition
* Responsible for sourcing, screening, recruiting candidates, conducting interviews provide proposal on remuneration package including benefits and conduct orientation for new staffs.to meet business needs
* Assist in identification and development of creative approach and solutions to the company's recruitment and staffing needs
* Work closely with advertising, job portals and recruitment agencies on recruitment matters.
HR Partner
* Partner with business to provide solutions to human resource matters such as employee engagement, performance management, retention and development initiatives and compliance
* Assist to develop and implement short/long term HR initiatives in support of Manufacturing's strategic objectives.
* Participate in annual site audits and work with internal & external stakeholders

HR Shared Services
* Check on the payroll computation and reports
* Reconcile payroll records, compile and prepare routine payroll reports
* Generate and submit monthly company pension or retirement fund contribution
* Work with HRIS Specialist on HR Applications, such as payroll and leave modules etc.
* Answers queries from employees regarding HR matters.
* Prepare HR reports / indicators / statistics information.
* Regular review and update of HR policies & organization.
* Updating and maintaining of HR Information System for employee's data.
* Updating and filing of Employee's personal file.
* Act as key contact for payroll, employee benefits and HR system queries
* Support Performance Management processes
* Administer the annual salary increment and bonus pay-out exercises
* The job holder shall at all times during the employment with the company, respect and comply with the DIS (Digital Identity & Security) Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental & Security requirements during the performance of his/her duties.

Special requirements (tools and equipment used, external contacts, etc)
* Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
* Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Knowledge and skills
* Experience with compensation and benefits functions including payroll, taxation, pension plans contribution, expatriate administration, salary benchmarking and review and strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
* Conversant with prevailing Human Resource practices
* Possess good written and oral communication.
* Analytical and proactive with flexible and practical approach to work

Qualifications:
* Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant
* At least 5 years' working experiences in a MNC company and preferred in manufacturing environment

Personality requirements :
* High resilience, agility and passion to drive continuous process improvements to raise standards in delivery of HR services
* Good stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
* Good project management and facilitation skills
* Highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and strong teamwork disposition
