The Role:
Due to my clients success, they are looking for an experienced Product Manager to work in their Product department, reporting in to the Head of Product

Role Responsibilities
Capture software requirements from internal and external stakeholder
Maintain engagement with customers in relation to upcoming products and features
Actively engage with all stakeholders to develop effective product visions and high-level roadmaps
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams in understanding the competitive landscape and key customer priorities
Liaise with the Customer Success team to understand and capture customer pain points
Validate customer and business requirements in collaboration with the UX/UI team
Prioritise feature requests and projects to maintain an agreed backlog of work for the Development team
Co-ordinate workshops in collaboration with the Product Owners and UX/UI team so that all relevant stakeholders can discuss and agree scope for products and features
Work closely with Product Owners, the Development and Test teams to ensure scope and outcome for all work items is understood for upcoming sprints
Act as overall sign off for development work items.
Assist the UX/UI team in user research and the user testing of wireframes/prototypes
Develop and own the release plan for products and features, communicating with all departments to ensure a smooth delivery to customers
Develop product collateral for communication internally and externally
Work collaboratively with all relevant departments to agree a pricing strategy for all products
Work closely with marketing to design and implement product launches, marketing campaigns and activities
Work closely with sales to facilitate success of new products and releases
Monitor product performance to provide analysis and reports of product and feature usage
General Duties
Arrange meetings, calls and online webinars with customers to discuss ideas and to capture feedback
Conduct competitor and market research
Capture business requirements for products and features
Manage the product priority lists, product visions and roadmaps
Communicate upcoming products and features to customers and the business
Support the UX/UI team in user research, user testing and design workshops
Create and maintain communication channels with all teams across the business
Document the scope of project and feature requirements
Support the Product Owner so project and feature requirements can be translated into user stories
Attend sprint ceremonies when required
Review and sign off work items from development
Plan the launch of new products and features
Track and analyse product performance to generate usage data

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Requirements/ Experience
3+ years working in an IT software industry
Experience in a childcare or educational market would be advantageous
Previous work experience as a successful Product Manager is highly desirable
Previous experience of techniques and tools for managing software development and releases (e.g. JIRA)
Experience and confidence in working within Agile and Scrum development environment
Experience of capturing internal and external requirements
Ability to validate and prioritise requirements
Experience of collaboration with UI/UX teams
Experience working with Development and Test teams
Strong people skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Positive 'Can-do' Attitude

Excellent organisational and time management skills
