The Company: Based on the Southside of Brisbane, a well-established Electrical Engineering Company who is well known for the delivery of quality projects within the Power, Manufacturing & Water industries for over 50 years.

The Role: As an Electrical Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring quality control, management, timely delivery and continued support to customers and internal staff for project delivery.

This role is Part Time, 3 Days per week on a 2 year contract based on the Southside of Brisbane.

Role Purpose:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Engineers throughout projects in the Water/ Utilities industries
  • Prepare, submit and manage variations and scope changes with the client
  • Develop status reports, cash flow forecasting and cost to complete
  • Provide estimating and costing to ensure projects are managed within budget
  • Be a point of contact for key customers and deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure quality assurance procedures are adhered to and legislative requirements are met

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Degree Qualified Engineer - Electrical/ Electronics or Electrical Trade with Project Management Qualifications
  • RPEQ Certified (highly regarded)
  • 8 - 10 year's experience successful managing projects within the utility and water industries
  • Strong business acumen and expertise with project costing and estimating
  • Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and industry codes
