This vacancy is a Temporary Role - 10 Months (Can be extended if needed)

Candidates LOCALLY BASED in Qatar under Husband/Father Sponsorship is preferred for this role.

The ideal candidate must be Bilingual (Arabic/English Speaker) with Advanced Excel Skills and Good Communication Skill

The Role:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the compilation of the annual training plan.
  2. Monitor and maintain training plans, programs and records.
  3. Ensure that all logistic requirements for training courses are satisfied and taken care of for effective training delivery and attendance.
  4. Establish and maintain good relationships with external training providers and external awarding bodies.
  5. Where appropriate, administer client nominations on external awaring bodies management systems. E.g. ILM, Highfield, etc.
  6. Keep updated with the latest technical skills training trends and practices, as applied to L&D, and recommend improvements to the training process.
  7. Carry out short briefing and system user sessions where required.
  8. Communicate and recommend changes and modifications on the annual training plan in response to urgent operational requirements and priorities.
  9. Assist in evaluating effectiveness of training programs and coordinate with concerned personnel to develop and review non-technical training course's objectives, content and approaches.
  10. Ensure that all employees and external providers trainings' issues and concerns are being addressed and resolved.
  11. Contribute to the preparation of training budget estimates and cost controlling activities and provide a rationale for budget allocations.
  12. Work with other business support services on the sourcing, purchasing and finances of training interventions.
  13. Prepare reports about the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that recent advanced technologies and developments are effectively utilized for more effective training process.
  14. Follow specified systems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements/standards.
  15. Work safely at all times, protecting the health and safety of everyone in the workplace.
  16. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Professional Qualification

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Psychology or similar; other specialisations considered.

Professional Experience

2 - 4 years in a Learning & Development Function or a related field, e.g. HR, education, HSSEQ, General Services, project management office.
