Job Overview
Sr. FP&A Analyst will support the delivery of world-class business performance management, budgeting and reporting. The person will also be the business partner to department managers and BU managers to drive better business results.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
* Supports local processes and timelines are established to meet the regional deadlines and expectations as set by the Regional Manager of FP&A.
* Responsible for month end close general ledger preparation, including booking various journal entries, reconciliations and calculation and recording of monthly entries (prepayments, accruals, etc.) as necessary.
* Supports Location Management Reporting processes and systems for the delivery of consistent, accurate and timely management information (financial and statistical) to enable efficient fact-based decision making
* Analyses and interprets Location management reporting; comparing budget/forecast to actual through collaboration with Manager Project Accounting, including KPI's, key business drivers and trends, overheads, business development activities and market conditions to support decision making.
* Perform trending and actual vs budget review and identify/investigate abnormal activities to ensure accurate month end result.
* Support the Regional FP&A team in the preparation of regional and global business line reporting.
* Ensures the accurate and timely consolidation of financial and statistical information across the Location, recognizing the complexity arising from the business.
* Supports FP&A Manager in generating detailed overhead reporting actual vs Budget/Forecast with variance analysis, for discussion with budget owners to explore cost reduction opportunities; Works effectively in a global, multi-cultural team in a remote/virtual environment.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
* Supports Location Budgets and rolling forecast processes and systems, including preparation, upload, reconciliation and reporting.
* Collaborates with various stakeholders across the business to develop overhead budgets and forecast that are reasonable, while challenging assumptions to ensure that the underlying business is reflected; Implement standardized reports and ongoing process improvement.
Business Partnership:
* Assists FPA manager as the day to day finance business partner to the department budget owners and representative of Finance function to department managers.
* Assists processes that enable the business to effectively manage its costs. Identifies and implements specific cost reductions and/or leakages; Assists the development and regular review of business and operational plans and strategic plans.
Improvement:
* Proactively identifies and contributes to the ongoing development of systems and processes to enhance management reporting and budgeting processes.
* Develops and implements dashboards and management reports to meet the needs of all stakeholders; Responsible for ad hoc analysis. Designs financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities for projects and reporting requirements. Advises on the design and application of models.

Required Education/Skills/Experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the accounting and/or financial field.
* Working knowledge with financial system such as Oracle, Hyperion Planning and Essbase
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skill set preferred
* Ability to troubleshoot and define process improvements Analytical, proactive, good team player with effective inter-personal skills.
* The ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions is critical
* Ability to communicate appropriately to ensure smooth workflow, and compliance with deadlines
* Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
* Diploma in Accounting or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business.
