The Role:
SVE Electrical Engineer Support key SVE Electrical and EESE meetings including Ei-PAT and SVE EESE PST
- Ensure sub systems that integrate with SVO systems have all relevant specifications and requirements at required Milestone events.
- Liaise with Engineering teams for Protection and Compatibility of SVO systems.
- Ensure Marketing requirements and PDL are translated into Engineering solutions (feature and Functions of system are aligned) Gather data on relevant SDS required for System to be engineered ¿ utilise eFDVS if required - Liaise with teams that have equity in Releases and Alerts to ensure timely implementation of Electrical Options.
- Liaise with Elab personnel to ensure timely build of test boards and testing. Raise Testnet requests for relevant test houses in Dunton
- Support Compatibility reviews as needed, conduct System and Functional Design reviews. Perform system level issue resolution, verification and validation and provide system level Sign Off on pre Job #1 and job #1 builds. Provide launch support as required.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of EDS, Software Control and Tracking Processes. Software flashing. System architecture and control strategy experience. Experience of CAN tools including CANalyser, CANoe, and CANDB++ WERS, Alert, FMEA, Teamcenter Access and Experience. Basic knowledge of SVO systems and which systems are affected in RPO (EESE, Powertrain, Chassis or Body) Knowledge of Software Development Processes

Skills Preferred:
Good communication skills and excellent team player.

Experience Required:
Familiarity with the Global release and Change Management Processes. Awareness of AVBOM

Experience Preferred:
Launch experience, primarily associated with Kocaeli Plant. Solid electrical background.

Our Client is a large Automotive and Commercial Vehicle OEM, with a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering on a contract basis. These opportunities are typically based in their research and development facility located in Dunton which is the largest automotive technical centre in the United Kingdom.
