The Role:
Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide discipline engineering support to UK operations to ensure equipment integrity and regularity.

Accountabilities and End Results:
* Manage equipment to system performance standards and assist in specifying new equipment
* Responsible for monitoring equipment/system performance initiating and ensuring corrective actions.
* Provide discipline engineering and maintenance support to UK operations
* Updating and ensuring adherence to Technical Controlling Documents for engineering discipline

Primary Functions & Dimensions:
* Deliver long term facility modification & maintenance plans/programs to ensure cost effective operation and asset integrity throughout facility lifetime.
* Provide input and strategy for activities related to transition from old to new facilities, including participating in review of outstanding workload and optimisation of modification portfolio.
* Assist with budget input/scope for maintenance and modifications.
* Responsible for continuously challenging technical solutions, engineering performance and cost of modification projects.
* Deliver Technical Queries for new Modification projects.
* Project "champion" in Modification projects FEL 1 and 2 phases, and support FEL 3 and execution.
* Support optimisation of preventive maintenance program, including detailed work packages for UK Operated installations.
* Provide technical support to Operations teams
* Support equipment performance including spare part management and warranty follow up.
* Responsible for contract management
* Deputise for the Technical Authority:
o Lead and develop functional excellence and continuous improvement within the relevant engineering disciplines.
o Focal point for relevant standards and ownership of relevant Technical Controlling documents.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications
* Technical University degree (BSc or higher) or demonstrable equivalent industry experience
