The Role:
Focal point to ensure SAP is populated with all spares and material information to meet operational requirements

Accountabilities and End Results:
Apply expertise and leadership to ensure that all project and operational spares are identified, catalogued, procured, maintained
and assigned to the SAP asset register in a timely and cost effective manner

Primary Functions & Dimensions:

* Own, review and manage assets processes and procedures for the utilisation and application of the Spare Parts Management Procedure
* Interface regularly with E&C focal points, Project Engineers, TAs, Operation Engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
* Attend all project kick-off meetings.
* Manage ad-hoc requests for materials emanating from MOC/SAP ZC process.
* Analyse and amend SAP inventory levels in accordance with output from projects and maintenance strategy reviews i.e update critical spares.
* Analyse current SAP inventory usage to advise recommended stock levels.
* Collaborate with Materials Cataloguers to ensure that any changes to material masters are implemented as agreed with the business.
* Collaborate with Material Controllers and Expeditors to ensure that material stock requests are processed promptly.
* Perform analysis of current and new processes and make recommendations for inventory optimisation and improvement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Critical Skills:

1. Core Technical Experience
* Experienced in SAP R/3 MM module and awareness of module.
* Sound knowledge of CMMS Maintenance systems and
techniques i.e master data, asset register hierarchy.
* Awareness of maintenance strategy development, execution and processes.
* Ability to understand technical drawings and data i.e
P&IDs, tag structure, data sheets, vendor documentation
* Previous experience of E&C/Capital Projects processes
* Proficient with the Microsoft suite of tools.

2. Qualifications
Engineering qualification or relevant experience
