The Role:
Responsible for day-to-day project engineering support of defined responsible packages with key Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) and Subsea Production System (SPS) contractor and/or purchase order(s) with respect to HSEQ, cost and schedule, and performance within the engineering, manufacturing, onshore fabrication, subsea construction and commissioning disciplines. Interface as required with J-Block business unit for preparation and execution of commissioning & start-up phase.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day co-ordination of design engineering, material and/or equipment manufacturing for delegated responsible packages inclusive of, but not limited to; pipeline, subsea structures and valves for full Project development cycle considering onshore fabrication, subsea construction, pre-commissioning/commissioning leading to ready-for-operation and throughout first hydrocarbon introduction.
* Interfacing with wider Project team (Well Operations, J-Block Operating Unit, Brownfield Contractor) throughout engineering, fabrication and construction to ensure collaborative development.
* Participate in the development of execution strategy documents.
* Participate in reviewing cost estimates and schedules.
* Participate in the Project change management process.
* Participate in project risk assessments, risk management activities and monthly risk register reviews and updates.
* Review design documentation and manufacturing, fabrication and installation procedures etc.
Advise manager or project manager and project teams on design, engineering, materials, manufacturing, fabrication and installation issues, so that sound technical/commercial decisions can be made.
* Assist with contingency, emergency and bridging procedures related to marine operations.
* Monitor main SPS/SURF contractors' activities to ensure Company HSEQ and contractual requirements are fulfilled.
* Undertake role as project representative offshore during construction/installation & commissioning and start-up campaigns.
* In accordance with established interface management procedures, ensure timely and technically sound interfacing with other relevant project groups and Chrysaor technical responsible personnel, etc.
* Prepare (input to) as applicable project progress reports, management and partner presentations etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant SURF/SPS project experience, preferably including experience with subsea construction and diving works, and execution of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) contracts.
Self-driven and results oriented. Active and visible role model with strong collaboration, communication and teamworking skills.
Thorough understanding of UKCS Regulatory and Industry Standards requirements in relation to subsea design.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree educated within engineering & construction discipline
Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
