The Role:
Lead the Competency Assurance Management by ensuring that Production Operations personnel are competent to carry out job roles in accordance with all processes and procedures.
Accountabilities and End Results:
Accountable for the efficient co-ordination and planning of course bookings, training needs analysis, competence assurance system administration, skills development of all production operations staff resulting in a fully compliant workforce.

Primary Functions:
* In accordance with Management System Processes and Procedures ensure workforce is competent to levels required
* Build Offshore and Onshore Gas Terminal corporate requirements training plan
* Optimise Offshore& Gas Terminal discipline training plan
* Annual Review of Offshore & Gas Terminal discipline training plans
* Manage delivery of the combined agreed training plans above
* Process training requests, course bookings, issue of joining instructions etc
* Raise training requisitions as required in SAP
* Liase with training providers to produce bespoke courses for business needs
* Carry out individual training needs analysis
* Identify gaps and ensure plan is in place to close
* Audit individual training profiles
* Liaise with Competence Assurance Management Team Lead to resolve competency issues
* Ensure integrity of Competence Assurance Management System and provide support to users
* Schedule, track and record new office based employee inductions
* Manage Trainee Technician Programme by attending quarterly OPITO meetings and ongoing monitoring and coordination of existing trainee technician as they progress through the scheme to completion.
* Monthly metric and KPI reporting to management.
* Engineering Professional Development - monitoring all new starts by assigning programme and arranging training to ensure required elements are captured.
* Contract manager for various training contracts, more specifically Mintra (£1MM over 3 years) and ensuring the service level provided is efficient and meets requirements.
* Training Template reviews carried out annually, training matrices and online management system updated as required.
* Attend bi-weekly meetings with OIM's and Operations Managers.
* Management of the competency assurance management system.
* Budget planning and maintenance for offshore training and competency.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Core Technical Experience
* Working knowledge of Offshore Legislative requirements
* Working knowledge of SAP
* Well-developed IT skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
3. Personal Characteristics
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Ability to prioritise heavy workload
* Excellent organisation skills
* Good communications, networking, facilitation and presentation skills.
* Ability to communicate at all levels
* Self-developer, active learner
