The Role:
The Company is currently seeking a Operations manager to lead a Division's staff in order to produce homes in an efficient manner while meeting cost, quality, time, customer service and quantity goals.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
*Work closely with Division President to oversee operations of assigned division which may include, but are not limited to: sales, construction, purchasing and administrative personnel
*Ensure all of the Company's systems, policies and procedures are followed
*Regularly conduct meetings with staff to maintain consistent communication, assist with the resolution of problems and promote ideas for improvement
*Recruit, select and retain top performing employees to fill current and future staffing needs
*Achieve customer satisfaction targets; ensure homeowner, association and agency concerns are promptly and efficiently resolved
*Ensure consistent, predictable, timely closings
*Control variances to stay within budgeted costs, control outstanding warranty issues, keep warranty expenses to a minimum for the division
*Work with purchasing manager to ensure cycle times and construction budgets are not impacted due to trade issues by maintaining an adequate trade base to build all homes in a timely and cost effective manner
*Oversee site inspections and quality control; periodically walk homes prior to closing
*Work with purchasing, sales and estimating departments to resolve issues and solve problems
*Coordinate all construction related training
*Provide feedback and positive reinforcement to staff to achieve high quality results and promote teamwork within the division and the company

*Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or equivalent
*Five or more years' experience in production residential construction preferably including experience in both sales and construction
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet and database programs
*Outstanding organizational skills; disciplined and demanding
*Highly energetic
*Strong attention to detail and follow through ability
