The Role:
The EHS Manager will be held accountable for implementation of safety procedures, compliance based auditing, safety training and will promote safety and environmental philosophies to ensure that the safety and environmental goals are met.

- The individual in the position will ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and continually working towards improvements on the safety programs to reduce/eliminate gaps in compliance.
- Acts as primary contact for all employees on accident reporting, investigation and hazard elimination. This will include conducting interviews and investigate industrial accidents, injuries or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventative measures to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
- Prepares various reports with respect top air permits, air emissions, water, waste management and health and safety reporting.
- Leads incident investigations, develops root cause analysis, recommends policy changes and corrective actions.
- Be accountable for all OSHA compliance initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in industrial hygiene, safety management, environmental science/engineering
- 5 years direct experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to be a one man team
- Train on various OSHA required topics

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Foundry, weld shop, or other heavy manufacturing environment experience
