The Role:
Our client is looking for creative, dedicated and passionate individuals to become a vital part of a new team in Frankfurt, Germany.

The GDPR Expert responsibilities include advising on our compliance with GDPR and local data protection laws, monitoring our adherence to GDPR standards and acting as a point of contact with supervisory authorities and data subjects. They'll also create policies that enforce compliance with legislation and deliver GDPR off- and on-board vehicle systems compliance reviews to increase the data protection maturity level.

GDPR Experience within automotive is essential.

* GDPR supervisory of internal system owners and teams
* Identification and evaluation of the company's data processing activities
* Provide advice and instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
* Monitoring of data management procedures and compliance within the company
* Validation and assessments for privacy by design at all level's assurance
* Maintain records of processing operations
* Ensure the project will address all queries from data subjects within legal timeframes (e.g. delete their information from our databases)
* Ensure vehicles off- & on boards systems compliance
* Liaise with other organizations that process data on our behalf
* Write and update detailed guides on data protection policies
* Perform audits and determine whether we need to alter our procedures to comply with regulations
* Offer consultation on how to deal with privacy breaches
* Perform training on GDPR compliance for employees
* Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance

The Company:
Our client is one of China's largest privately owned automotive manufacturing group specialising in innovative and new automotive technology.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Working experience in Automotive R&D
* Experienced background in automotive OEM & supplier industries
* Excellent knowledge in automotive development standards & processing
* Experience in data protection and legal compliance
* Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
* Knowledge of automotive data processing operations
* Familiarity with computer security systems
* Experienced in different cultural working environments
* Excellent English communication skills
