The Role

Looking for a Construction Superintendent with exceptional management and leadership skill sets. This candidate shall have knowledge in management activities on Ground-Up Commercial Construction. This candidate must have the capability to maintain clear and concise communication (written and verbal) on all levels with associated management and staff.

This position requires knowledge of all in-field aspects of project management and heavy experience in Commercial Construction. Projects include K-12, Government, Municipal, or Healthcare.

Responsibilities


* Ensure that that all activities within a Commercial Construction project are completed on time, within budget, with 100% customer satisfaction.
* Review daily activity reports and assist in the planning, organising, controlling, procuring, storing, and logistics of all materials.
* Manage all field staff, and work in conjunction with the project management team.
* Work closely with all building envelope trades.
* Travel throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
* Problem solve all manner of situations within a project, maintaining a calm perspective.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

* A minimum of 3 years of Construction supervisory experience
* Highly proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with a mobile workforce
* Customer driven and focused with high work standards
* Excellent business acumen and communication skills
* Highly organised multi-tasker who can think fast on their feet
* Ability to be resilient and resourceful with time/priority and project management
* Personal effectiveness with integrity and accountability
* Takes pride in ownership of their accomplishments
