The Role:

Overall Tasks
* Newsletter every month latest by 15th
* Estimates and Active forecast each month with Sharepoint worksheet
* Staff meeting once per month
* Arrange minimum once a year social event with staff
* Appraisal once a year
* Budget in teamwork with local sales and manager.
* Office strategy and MWB in teamwork with manager.

Individual task
* Actively support and engage in Sales/Business Development.
* Act as the day to day liaison between Sales/Business Development and Operations.
* Manage and engage corporate procedures on a day to day basis to ensure full compliance
* Contact with island contact.
* Handle full operations for both air and ocean activities until your have established your team, full knowledge of all Trinidad laws and regulations are required.

Staff - Management
* You develop your group of managers in the office and make sure that the whole group work together and in the same direction, in keeping with Client strategy, business goals and culture.
* You are responsible for all positions are employed with competent employees - both professionally and personally.
* You have focus on teambuilding and team development.
* You encourage happiness at work amongst your managers and other employees and you create the conditions for a good working climate in the office.
* You make the office work in the way that all employees contribute to the realization of the set goals.
* You have the knowledge of every single manager's talent and you have focus on challenging, exploring and developing everyone's potential.
* You communicate clear expectations to the managers, give room for actions and stand behind them.
* You are present and you create a balance between assignments and resources in the office.
* You give and receive honest and constructive feedback.
* You tackle problems and challenges, are consistent and make decisions

Customer focus - sales and development
* You have a strong customer focus.
* You put the customer in the center, have a natural ability to communicate with customers and knows how to take care of customers.
* You are capable of finding solutions for the customers so they are satisfied as well as Client is earning money.
* You have an overview and knows when you can and should change in the conditions in order to maintain/keep a good and loyal customer.
* You are professionally competent to sell and develop the activities you are responsible for.
* You make sure that you have the right staff in the office in order to sell and develop.
* You seek knowledge and complete education that ensures your constant ability to sell and develop.

* You make sure that your managers receive all relevant information - and that they pass it on to their employees.
* You are responsible for the information in the office and that all managers pass on the right information in the right time to the employees.
* You are capable of adjusting your communication to the different types of personalities - towards customers, business connections, employees and colleagues.
* You communicate with respect.

* You are constantly aware of and open for developing the business - this requires that you know what is going on in the industry.
* You can develop the position of the office and its professional profile in your area.

* You can plan the activities and initiatives necessary to make the office work and create good results.
* You make sure that the group of managers have focus on the right priorities and plan optimal.
* You have a complete overview of your activities. This means that you work with solutions that are in Clients common interest.
* You can create a general view and structure in a busy working day and you use motivating delegation of both assignments and responsibility.
* You create trust in your relation with customers, business connections and colleagues.
* You work in Clients interest and what is best for the company as a whole.
* You help other general managers if they do not obtain the set results.
* You make sure that all employees in the office use and are updated on Client's IT systems.

Economy and IT tools
* You have the knowledge of economic key figures and can work out budgets and continuously follow-up on the budget.
* You are aware of the economy of the office and you make the necessary adjustments if the figures do not live up to the budget.
* You communicate the key figures to the group of managers and agree on adjustments.
* You are responsible for the economic report to the board of directors.
* You make sure that the office work efficiently with the IT tools and the set procedures.
