The Role:

The Senior Corporate Accountant ensures proper accounting for corporate-level activities, including general and administrative (G&A) expenses, intercompany expenses, project development costs, fixed assets, and inventory and cash activities.

Main accountabilities:

* Maintain system of intercompany invoicing and payments
* Maintain accounting records for internal procurement function
* Maintain parts inventory system
* Assist with accounting for projects in development
* Record and analyze corporate financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
* Record fixed assets and depreciation - Corporate
* Prepare reconciliations to properly support account balances
* Prepare required consolidating and eliminating journal entries
* Perform analyses of financial statement variances
* Maintain chart of accounts
* Maintain relevant data in SAP system
* Additional duties as required

Travel: None

Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* 3+ years of relevant experience; public accounting experience preferred
* CPA Certification
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel; some knowledge of SAP preferred

* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

Physical demands & working conditions:

* Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
* Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
* Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
* Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
* Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
