The Role:
* Comply with the BP's Project OMS program and Vendor and Site HSE policies.
* Candidate will be required to intervene or have appropriate conversations with team members around safe work practices if required.
* Shall notify supervision of all unsafe acts, near misses and incidents.
* Team member is required to lead by example with regards to company's HSE policy.

* Attend meetings as required and represent the commissioning team at other project team meetings.
* Development of all commissioning related documents, procedures, and schedules as per Mpcp v4 and OMS
* Review all mechanical general, static, dynamic, regulatory commissioning procedures by the EPC contractor with a focus on:
o Hull, marine, and topsides equipment (rotating and static)
o Punch list management
o Specialized cleaning and flushing
o Leak testing
o Preservation
* Represent team in key meetings with other project teams (EPC, Operations, Engineering, Construction, etc.).
* Oversee the development of the Limit of System Handover (LOSH).
* Support project Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), reviewing procedures, assigning resources, and adjusting commissioning scope to integrate FAT successes and deficiencies.
* Individual will be expected to interface effectively with project personnel (project leadership and engineering staff), operations team, contract field construction personnel, and vendor support staff.
* Individual will work in a team environment and must be able to quickly understand the roles of those in the interfacing teams, develop quick relationships, and work effectively to assure that the commissioning work integrates well in the overall project plan.
* Maintain a comprehensive log of the activities and report progress to Project Commissioning Manager.
* Coordinate the Regulatory Certification requirements
* Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule, and report any deviations to the Project Commissioning Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and/or a minimum of 7 years of offshore project commissioning experience with a preferred 10 years in support of upstream projects or production

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
* Demonstrated track record for HSE leadership and delivery
* Experience in process commissioning discipline as well as start-up on Oil and Gas Major Projects
* Knowledge of Completions Management systems (CMS)
* Knowledge of SIMOPS, COW, LOTO operating systems
* Individual should have excellent interpersonal, technical, communications, organizing and planning skills; able to communicate with technicians, foremen, as well as middle management.
* Construction and commissioning delivery background, with experience on EPC projects in a Far East fabrication yard working with a diverse local and international work force: experience in working with construction and/or operations is desirable.
