Work Schedule: There are three phases over multiple years (see job description). The first phase is Houston-based on a 9/80 for approx. one year. Then the assignment moves to KOS Yard in Ingleside for about 9 months (work schedule TBD), then returns to Houston for balance of assignment ending roughly 2Q-2021. All applicants MUST be willing and able to relocate to Ingleside (Corpus area) for the second phase of the project. *Work Location US - Texas - Houston (one year) then KOS Yard in Ingleside, TX for onshore scope (~ 9 months) then back to Houston until First Production achieved
*Role Synopsis The client's project consists of a singular column stabilized semisubmersible offshore facility intended for production of hydrocarbons at the client's project field supported by subsea production and water injection system, associated wells, and export pipelines. As of June 2019, the project is now 2.5 years into Execute Stage.

The FPU Integration Planner is accountable for providing detailed planning support, as well as coordinating performance management cadence and report processes for the FPU Integration Delivery Team in accordance with the MD2 performance management plan and related guidance documents. Two distinct phases exist for the FPU integration scope. One scope entails onshore planning support for the facility at the KOS Yard upon delivery from Korea, where specific scopes will be executed such as installation of riser pull-in gear and execution of any carryover scope. This scope will be executed with a Turnaround (TAR) mindset due to the criticality of schedule. The other scope relates to offshore Hook-up and Commissioning (HUC) and systems handover to Operations. Both scopes will require planning oversight for contractor-generated work packs and execution plans. The FPU Integration Planner will also coordinate interfaces between the FPU Integration and Subsea Delivery Teams.

This position will report to the client FPU Integration Project Services Lead (PSL). The FPU Integration Planner position will initially be based in Houston, Texas for approximately one-year and will subsequently transfer to the KOS Yard in Ingleside during the onshore phase. During the offshore phase, this position will relocate back to the Houston office.
Key Accountabilities: - Provide detailed planning and progress measurement support to the FPU Integration delivery team
- Develop detailed schedules to support execution of onshore and offshore FPU Integration team activities, inclusive Subsea delivery team interfaces
- Provide integration and oversight of contractor planning processes and deliverables
- Coordinate delivery team and/or contractor inputs as required to meet performance management requirements, ensuring key issues are distilled and highlighted for leadership
- Provide planning inputs to weekly / monthly reports and dashboards
- Maintain focus on clien's Modernization and Transformation (M&T) agenda, including potential implementation of Digital Performance Mgmt (DPM) opportunities and onboarding of lessons from other projects
Essential Education High School diploma required.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements - Experienced (15 years) in oil & gas, preferably on large scale, complex projects
- Experienced (10 years) in project control on major projects
- Experienced (10 years) and fully conversant in Oracle Primavera
- Self-motivation and a high level of individual initiative and self-reliance will be required
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI
Desirable Criteria: - Turnaround experience desirable
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or Project Management related field
